Popular Agoura Hills & Oak Park Projects

  • Hillside listings: show views, privacy and lot size that ground photos miss.
  • Old Agoura & equestrian properties: arenas, trails and acreage in one frame.
  • Oak Park homes: family neighborhoods near parks and schools, shot for listings and HOAs.
  • Roof checks after Santa Ana winds: spot lifted tiles and damage without a ladder.
  • Commercial properties: office and retail centers along Agoura Road.
  • Builders: repeatable progress angles for owners and lenders.
📝 Planning tip: Agoura Hills requires a city film permit for commercial filming and photography on public and private property, and drone use needs a drone application filed with that permit. Applications are due at least 3 working days before the shoot, or 2 weeks if filming affects traffic or public safety, and the city code doesn't allow film production on Sunday. Tell us your date early and we'll build the permit timeline into the plan. (Source: City of Agoura Hills Film Permits)

Agoura Hills Drone FAQs

Where can't drones take off around Agoura Hills?

Much of the land around Agoura Hills is part of the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, including Paramount Ranch and Cheeseboro/Palo Comado Canyon. National Park Service rules generally prohibit launching or landing drones on park land, and California State Parks restrict drones too. During wildfires, the FAA issues Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs), and flying in one is illegal and endangers firefighting aircraft. We take off from approved private property, check every flight against current restrictions, and reschedule if a fire TFR is active.

Do I need a permit for a drone shoot in Agoura Hills?

For commercial work, yes. The City of Agoura Hills requires a film permit for commercial filming and still photography, and a drone application goes in with it. The city's film office is run by SWS (filming@sws-inc.com, 805-495-7521). We'll tell you during planning whether your shoot needs one.

Do you serve Oak Park?

Yes. Oak Park sits right between Agoura Hills and Thousand Oaks, and we fly there regularly for real estate, roof inspections and HOA projects.

How long does a drone roof inspection take?

About 30 minutes on site, and we're running a $150 drone roof inspection promo. See our $150 drone roof inspection details.

Are you insured and FAA certified?

Yes. We're FAA Part 107 certified, flying commercially since 2019, and carry $600K aggregate GL + $1M professional/media liability.
